with brines or marinades.<\/p>\n<p>Also, since we are going to be grilling over direct heat we do not want to use and seasonings that are likely to burn or scorch and turn bitter.<\/p>\n<p>I like to go with a simple mix of Morton&#8217;s seasoned salt and black pepper.\u00a0 After the meat is seasoned let it sit at room temperature while you fire up the grill.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" href=\"https:\/\/extraordinarybbq.com\/weber-traveler-overview\/\">Weber Traveler<\/a> and the temperature gauge was reading about 350F.<\/p>\n<p>Country Style Ribs and Pork Steaks are cut from the same piece of the hog but the &#8220;rib&#8221; cut is thicker than the &#8220;steak&#8221; cut.\u00a0 So while it only takes about 15-20 minutes to <a href=\"https:\/\/extraordinarybbq.com\/grilled-pork-steaks\/\">grill pork steaks<\/a> it will take about 35 minutes to grill these &#8220;ribs&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" the cooking grate and close the lid.<\/p>\n<p>Every five minutes you will need top open the lid and use a pair of tongs to turn the ribs over.\u00a0 You will be getting some smoke from the dripping pork fat hitting the burner tubes but since you are cooking with medium heat you shouldn&#8217;t have any real flare up issues.<\/p>\n<p>After 30 minutes the ribs will start looking great and smelling ribs reach an internal temperature of 140F (at about the 30 minute mark) you can apply a light coating of your favorite barbecue sauce.<\/p>\n<p>After the ribs have been sauced closed the lid and let them cook for another five minutes until an internal temperature of 145F is reached at which point the ribs are done!<\/p>\n<p>You will need to pay attention to each piece of meat while it is cooking.\u00a0 Usually the ribs are cut to uneven thicknesses so the thin ones will finish cooking sooner than the thick ones.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the ribs from the grill and serve with potato salad, Cole
