I don’t really even feel a need to justify or explain this recipe.\u00a0 It’s bacon.\u00a0 A lot of it.\u00a0 Weaved together in a beautiful deliciousness for your pizza dreams.<\/p>\n

I smoked the bacon for about 30 minutes, but you could also accomplish this quicker by setting up your grill for direct cooking and spreading the coals thin and evenly to keep the temp low and the bacon safe from burning.<\/p>\n

Because that’s all we really care about – not hurting the bacon.\u00a0 What did bacon ever do to you to deserve burning?\u00a0 Nothing.\u00a0 All bacon has ever done is provide you with tasty, fatty yumminess.\u00a0 So don’t burn it.<\/p>\n

We turned ours into a bacon cheeseburger pizza.\u00a0 Bacon crust, grilled burgers on top, with mozzarella and provel cheeses melted to perfection.\u00a0 Adults and kids alike loved it.\u00a0 It was just…ridiculously good.\u00a0 And a great way to cut down on carbs!\u00a0 Win-win.<\/p>\n

We originally got this idea from our friends over at foodbeast – I don’t know if this is his original idea or if he saw it and had to try it, just like we did.<\/p>\n

Bacon.\u00a0 Crust.\u00a0 Pizza.\u00a0 I can’t imagine a happier marriage of ideas creating a better pizza.\u00a0 Try this very, VERY soon.\u00a0 I’ll be doing it again.\u00a0 And again.\u00a0 And again….<\/p>\n
