I’m a firm believer in brining poultry.\u00a0 Without going into a long diatribe with all the reasons why, I’ll simplify by saying it exponentially increases the juiciness of your meat.<\/p>\n
The problem with brining is that it’s somewhat difficult when dealing with whole chickens and turkeys.\u00a0 What do you use?\u00a0 A large bag?\u00a0 Will it leak?\u00a0 What about a pan?\u00a0 No, it won’t cover the whole bird.\u00a0 A cooler?\u00a0 Yep, you could do that, but then you better scrub the heck out of that cooler and decontaminate before and after.\u00a0 That sounds like a lot of work.<\/p>\n
What about a large, thin bucket designed to hold multiple birds and fit in most fridges by simply removing a shelf?\u00a0 Ah, yes, perfect.<\/p>\n
