I don’t remember who’s idea this was…but it was nothing short of genius.

We had some leftover flank steak from doing grilled steak fajitas a couple days prior. We were craving BBQ Pizza, the flank steak was just sitting there staring at us, and voila, a brand new delicious pizza was born.

"Grilled

I’ve made a LOT of BBQ Pizza’s over the past few years. Patti and I are always trying new creative toppings.

I have to say, without question, without even a close competitor, this is the best BBQ Pizza we have ever made. Grilled veggies and onions, grilled balsamic marinated flank steak, smoked pizza dough, mozzarella and cheddar cheese…holy wow, delicious.

"Grilled

You can obviously make this with leftovers of both veggies and flank steak, or you could cook them all fresh. Neither of those take very long to grill, then you can spread out your coals, throw your pizza stone on and knock out the pizza all in one night. For a weekday recipe, I’d use leftovers to expedite the process.

If you have any unique toppings you like on your pizza, let me know – leave a comment! I love trying new things.
