This….was different. I won’t say bad, because it wasn’t BAD. But I am very anxious to try it with chicken. As much as I love leftover smoked turkey, that flavor really almost overpowered everything else. I think chicken is more of a subtle flavor, therefore, probably better at complementing all the other things going on in this pizza.

"Smoked

The best thing about this was the ease of it – which could definitely be transferred to chicken. I put the whole thing together and had it on the dinner table in less than 30 minutes, which is pretty good, considering it’s a homemade pizza.

The variety of cheeses gives it a very unique and fancy taste. I think that I can officially say that I could eat fresh tomatoes on every single pizza I eat. For the rest of my life. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend it. It gives the pizza a sweetness that regular tomato sauce does not, and the unexpected juiciness – well, it’s just awesome.

I now must have tomatoes on all of my pizzas, I think.

"Fresh
