- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp basil
- 2 tsp parsley
- OR
- 1 jar of spaghetti sauce.
- Your call on that one.
I would say brown your meat, but you don't have to! HA!
Cut/Break the burgers into tiny pieces. Throw it into a big bowl.
Add the spices and the cheese.
Scoop the mixture into the the cooked jumbo pasta shells. Place the shells in a sauce filled pan.
I am a little weird about this - I like my sauce UNDER my shell. I really don't want the sauce in the shell. I can't really explain why, but I think it tastes better this way.
Once the pan is filled with meat filled shells, sprinkle some more cheese on top, just to make sure.
Then bake it at 350 for about 25 minutes, or until it's bubbly.
If this makes more than you want, these meat filled shells are easy to freeze.
