Blackened Grilled Shrimp Skewers

Jumbo shrimp are marinated in Cajun seasoning, skewered and seared on a scorching hot grill.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Jumbo Shrimp
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Chef Paul Seafood Magic Seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Peel and devein the shrimp
  • Combine the lime juice, Seafood Magic and olive oil to make the marinade.
  • Soak the shrimp in the marinade for 30 minutes.
  • Place the shrimp onto bamboo skewers.
  • Grill the skewers over Direct High Heat for 2-3 minutes per side until done.

Notes

Normally food is "blackened" blackened in a scorching hot cast iron pan. However, I really enjoy the extra flavor that comes from cooking teh shrimp directly on the grill.
