Honey Pineapple Glazed Salmon Burgers

- 1 pound of fresh ground salmon
- 1 tbn soy sauce
- 1 clove of garlic - chopped
- 2 tbn garlic
- 1 tsn worchestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup of panko
- grilled pineapple rings
- thick slices of red onion - grilled
Pineapple glaze
- 1/4 cup of pineapple juice - leftover from the can of pineapple rings
- 2 tbn honey
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 tbn cornstarch or flour
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- parsley
Grill onion and pineapple slices so they get the burn markes on each side. Set aside.
Mix the salmon meat with the other ingredients, form into patties.
Cook the burgers on a sheet of aluminum foil for about 10-15 minutes at a grill temp of 300.
Baste burger with the sauce and then serve with the sauce on the burger. Top burger with pineapple and onion.
Sauce Instructions:
In a small bowl mix the cornstarch/flour with the water. In a sauce pan bring the pineapple juice, honey and soy sauce to a boil. Add the cornstarch/flour mixture, and mix well. Add the garlic and parsley, and either refrigerate until you're ready to serve, or serve immediately.
