How to Roast Peppers on a Grill

Bell peppers are roasted on a grill and steamed inside a paper bag. The peppers are then cleaned and prepped for use.

Ingredients
  

  • Bell Peppers
  • Olive Oil
  • Paper Bag
  • Hot Grill

Instructions
 

  • Set up your grill for direct high heat.
  • Place the peppers directly over the heat.
  • Wait until the skin on the pepper starts to blacken and blister (about 3 minutes) and then turn the peppers over.
  • Grill until all sides of the pepper are blistered.
  • Place the peppers in a paper bag and let them steam for 5-10 minutes.
  • Remove the peppers from the bag and peel off the skin.
  • Remove the core and seeds.
  • Use immediately or place in a far of olive oil and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

Roasting peppers in incredibly easy and creates a completely different flavor profile.
