It’s that time of year again – it’s time for the Wilwood BBQ Bash, sponsored by St. Louis Home Fires! For me, this event is tied with Memphis in May for my favorite weekends of the year. It’s a gloriously good time filled with mass cooking and competing. EIGHT categories are turned in over just 17 hours. Chaos, intesity, and fun.
Aside from the competition, SLABS a’ Smokin will be vending at the event, as always. We’ve sold out every year and expect to do the same this year – the forecast looks outstanding! If you’re in the St. Louis area, it behooves you to come check out the Bash and stop by my tent for some extraordinary BBQ!
We’ll be serving Memphis Sausage & Cheese – always a crowd favorite; Pulled pork sandwiches and pulled brisket sandwiches; our famous Smoked Honey Bourbon Chicken Wings – as featured on the Huffington Post; and last but certainly not least – our Championship Ribs.
